Case Study: Developing The First Peritoneal Dialysis Unit In A Long Term Care Setting
Over 10 years ago while working as the Administrator of Haym Salomon Nursing Home in Brooklyn, New York, Jodee developed and opened the first Peritoneal Dialysis Unit in a Nursing Home in the United States in response to the growing need for additional specialized care to better serve the patients who up to that point had to leave their comfortable home-like surroundings and receive treatment in a hospital. After opening the unit and seeing what a success it was, Jodee wrote a detailed paper that was published in Health Care journals and magazines world wide.
